DARTASTIC COOKIE POLICY

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) we use on the Dartastic website, and how you control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

  1. OUR APPROACH

We keep cookies to a minimum. Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the site cannot function without them. Analytics cookies are off by default and are set only after you opt in through our cookie banner. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

  1. STRICTLY NECESSARY (ALWAYS ON)
  • Consent choice — a small entry stored in your browser's local storage (dartastic-cookie-consent) that remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask on every page. It contains only granted or denied.
  • Authentication/session — when you sign in, our identity provider (Firebase Authentication, a Google service) sets first-party cookies/storage to keep you signed in and secure your session.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website and, where you are signed in, performing our contract with you. These do not require consent.

  1. ANALYTICS (ONLY WITH YOUR CONSENT)
  • Google Analytics 4 — first-party _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies used to measure aggregate, pseudonymous usage (pages viewed, approximate session counts) so we can improve the site. These load only if you click "Accept" in the banner. Typical lifespan is up to about 13 months. IP addresses are truncated by Google's IP-anonymization and we do not use Analytics for advertising.

Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see below). Provider: Google. This may involve a transfer of data to the United States under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses; see our Privacy Policy and Sub-processors.

  1. HOW TO MANAGE YOUR CHOICE
  • Use Accept or Decline when the cookie banner appears.
  • Change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the site footer. Declining (or withdrawing) stops analytics and clears the Analytics cookies.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
